To align with Deichmann’s group-wide strategy, SNIPES set an ambitious goal: go live in just nine months. It was a tight timeline to set their foundation for long-term scalability – leaving no room for delays. 

And this was more than a regular migration. They needed a platform capable of handling its complexity and omnichannel requirements. 

SNIPES was able to roll out 11 countries and localize the stores across 8 different languages – all hosted on one instance. In addition, they seamlessly connected their omnichannel click-and-collect service in brick-and-mortar retail stores.

With an accelerated timeline and multiple markets to manage, SCAYLE approached the rollout in structured waves. 

Starting with the most straightforward shops, the team built a core configuration that could be duplicated and adapted for each region. This phased strategy ensured fast, smooth launches – without sacrificing quality. 

  • Planning: SNIPES and SCAYLE aligned on the migration strategy and timeline, laying the groundwork for a phased rollout.
  • Wave 1: The rollout kicked off in Croatia with an MVP shop, creating early insights for future rollouts.
  • Wave 2: SNIPES went live in the core European markets – Italy, Portugal, France, and Spain – with expanded features and localized experiences. 
  • Wave 3: Full-scale implementation launched across Germany, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium.
  • Final rollout: All 11 countries and 8 languages were live.

Using SCAYLE’s native, out-of-the-box features, the SNIPES team took control of their own setup – no external dev teams required. The team could flexibly adapt language, currency, and promotions to meet every region’s individual needs.

From product data to shipping logic to frontend design, SNIPES had total control over setup and execution. This hands-on approach sped up time to market.
